How to Use the Vol-2-Cash Tools
Straddle TradeFinder
The Straddle TradeFinder is designed to search for stocks that are poised to move in a big way and have options that are undervalued. You can use this TradeFinder to search for optimal volatility-play stocks for straddles.
If you are new to the Straddle TradeFinder, we recommend you start with the OVI Fast Filters. Fast Filter #1 is the most generic and will usually produce more results than Fast Filter #2 and #3.
If you’re looking to trade pre-earnings, we recommend using Fast Filter #2 and #3 as they filter for stocks that have previously gapped over earnings.
You will typically find more straddle results on the TradeFinder during earnings seasons as volatility tends to be higher then.
