How do I avoid getting gapped into a trade in IG Index?
The only sure way at the moment is to place your trade during market hours: US market hours for US stocks.
And then your bet should be made for ‘Day Only’. It is a good idea to have the order killed at end of day if not filled, especially for those tickers designated 'All Sessions' at IG.
If it doesn’t get filled, then you can place it again the next day during market hours.
